Will it beat the legendary 1967 one? My Lakeview Lake Shore apartment windows are shaking, but so far holding up (they’d better: in Chicago terms, I am paying a fortune for this place). Yes, somehow I made it home; Evanston likely cut off from Chicago for the next couple of days, Northwestern closed for the time being. No better time than now for listening loudly to Gordon and Byrd’s Tanya: Part 1 + Part 2 in the original 1964 recording; later Tanya sample with Dexter Gordon proving his worth. A tune indeed* one flight above pretty much anything else. Blizzard-proof, too.

ha hah, I haven't seen that :-).
Sebs I think they were right in that photo I saw from a church: Whoever is praying for snow please stop
LOL
Neica Bacovia, ai dreptate: gata, s-a oprit. Cum ziceam si in titlu, "a little blizzard" :-).
Maestre orice da' nu poa' sa fie ca zapezile noastre . Ia vezi: "e ziua si ce intuneric mai spune s-aduca si lampa, te uita, zapada-i cit gardul, si-a prins promoroaca si clampa" No?
Tanye si sanatate sa fie!
At least it's an absolutely fascinating view, everything under snow. And it still goes on, strong
Mersica mi-ai adus aminte.
Frumoasa Tanya. Multumesc de recomandare!
Airflights from Europe to US or Canada cancel until the 4th of February. Good luck, this looks like a biggie..
a Danish economist
Furtuna sau Tanya? Prima o mai imblanzesti, a doua musai s-o primesti cum vine… 🙂
Iti doresc sa ramana controlabila!
